    Hey Seth,
    I just spent most of my day reading your posts'.
    Getting ready to begin an engine swap.
    Short story is..Thrust bearing fail many years ago, I mitigated and it was my daily driver for 8 years. Crank travel was ridiculous..But It still runs strong (ish) today.
    I got a replacement engine from 928int. 100k on it.
    Plan on doing the heads and gaskets. Debating on the rings and if I do the rings then the rod bearings..
