Hello Plenum, hope you are safe and well. I have come to you in hopes that you would have information on how to remove the interior rear side panel of the 992. Specifically for the 992 turbo s but I don't think there's a difference in that section? I have had this rattling since 3 weeks into ownership and want to try to get it fixed. At the oil change, the staff at the OPC keeps insisting that it's because I installed a camera (probably liability issues?) I have booked in a time to get it fixed but I'm still worried they will try to put it off since it's technically an aesthetic defect, albeit a reallllly annoying one. Thanks so much in advanceChris

Hi Plenum, I have read you may have instructions on how to install the 991 ducktail. Is that correct? If so, would you be willing to share this information with me? Thx!

    Hi Plenum,

I'm wondering if you have instructions for how to remove the rear interior trim on a C2S 991.1 so that I can access the rear speakers. I have the Burmester system and had rattling in the door from the speakers, which I was able to solve using Dynamat and tightening screws. There's still a slight rattle in the rear areas so I want to know how to remove them.

Any help you can provide would be much appreciated!

    Michael

    Hi plenum!
Thought ask you since you are very knowledgeable about all this stuff. Have many things you have done........and appreciate the opportunity to learn from you.
I'd like to take the silver ring and paddle shifters off and get them painted a satin black....is it possible? Asked the dealer but lead mechanic has never done it.
    Thanks? Rob

Pawel- You didn't leave any way to contact you directly, and since you are not a member on the board I am not sure how you will get this... From what I can tell you really only have one official part # for the OEM fuel pump on the 1998 986 2.5L H6 engine...#996-620-102-00. You can source that specific part from just about any online site, such as Paramount Auto. You may be able to find a better price, but at least this is an OE part with warranty. I can't locate the technical specs on the pump to tell you pressure and such, but I can tell you that this part is listed specific to that year and engine. I'll take a look in some other places to see if I can locate the technical specs specific to the pump, but for now that's all I can offer.
