I am having similar problems with my tow license plate from Rennline and I think I know why. Do you mind if I reach out to you? Currently my bolt is in and will not come out. It is super stuck - and what's worse is that it is triggering the parking sensors. So I can not drive the car until I either remove the plate, which is one illegal, because I live in a two tag state - or two, listen to a constant loud non-stop beeping which is unbearable when driving.

On the other hand, one of my German friends is about 50 and driving a Merc S4XX. His car was debadged so I asked him "an E Class, huh?" He didn't appreciate my comment.

I was told at the Porsche factory by my delivery person that a lot of young German hotshoes like to cruise the Autobahn and sort of challenge other cars to a short speed run. It helps if you are hiding something, like Turbo S, GT3, GTS, etc. When they win the race, the looser never knows what beat him. Strange, but true!
