From the previous owner in NY as well? Did you trade it in to this dealership? It looks like you didnt own it for that that long - just curious why? I'm looking for a driver 993, prefer a C2S but this C4S is growing on me.

. I didn't say anything until today when i saw his request for help on the price and offered what I thought was an informed opinion backed by quite a bit of research. His response indicated he was offended, but, hey.... it is what it is and he did ASK.

I'm keeping an eye out for other local cars to try. Maybe the Targa had some issues. If it turns out they're all like that, ...well, it wouldn't be a bad obsession to be done with - they aren't cheap and seems like people dump a LOT into maintenance - something I'm not used to.

BTW, as far as that formula I use goes- I think it applies to the C2S as well.

A little background on the Ocean Blue C4s..... I first saw it on EBAY and Car Gurus maybe 6 -8 months ago. Back then he was asking $114K - another example of the huge price spreads I was seeing. Anyway, I emailed him to tell him how far out of whack he was. Price came down a few times in the ensuing months, but he was still in a dream world. No bids at all on EBAY, but he insisted it was because people don't buy these kind of cars on EBAY (really??). I suggested he try Rennlist, which he did but he was still stuck in the 90's....(cont'd).
