hey there , i saw your pics in your FIRST post ( because in later post they looked like they changed ) of your 911 in the "show us your base c2" thread and liked how the taillights looked , i just coudln't figure out what the option was called . they don't look like the stock normal taillights but they don't look like the tinted ones either because the lower side is still vivid red and not dark red. yours look like as if only the white " reverse light " is tinted but the lower side is kept normal . am i right or is it the light effect in the pictures ? please contact me on my email adresse if you don t mind : spirovsk@gmail.com

Did you mean 981 Cayman? I've had a 987 base cayman, a 981 Cayman S, and now the 991.2 911. The 987 Cayman Base (6 speed), felt like the most pure sports car. I wish i hadn't let that go, the 981 didn't have the same feel. The 987, IMO is the more timeless of the two.the 991.2 is on a different level. Seems that the quality of the materials and construction is a step higher as well. Its a much more mature car in many ways. Another thing of note is that the Cayman was really just a "me" car. as obviously, you can't take the family with you, anywhere, ever. The 911, is a true family experience, its a big deal to squeeze everyone in to go to Sonic, get some ice cream, or to go meet up with the PCA; and above that, when no one is in the back, you have LOADS more leg room than the Cayman did. I'm 6.2 and the Cayman was just a couple of inches to small for me, were as the 911 has room to spare, big difference in overall comfort.
