Let me know if you want to sell your steering wheel for the 991.1 to 991.2 conversion. I am very interested.

    hello

my 2007 cayman S now has 157,000 and I have had zero issues other than regular maintenance items. Clutch, RMS, Flywheel, air filter, brake rotors/pads, tires..

I have a windshield washer leak, TPMS can be annoying but the car has been as reliable as Honda Civic.

That is not to say, that on my next drive the engine won't go Kaboom!!! due to cylinder scoring or IMS bearing.. I paid next to nothing for this car and can walk away from it if the engine goes boom. I would suggest you do the same. Buy one at a price that is SUCH a good deal (due to high mileage) that in the 1% chance of catastrophic failure you will not be heart broken. and lets remember, the chances of failure have been less than 1% of cars reported.. and is prob even lower.

Change oil every 5K miles with high quality Synthetic, don't over rev or red line the car, other than that its a sweetest car for the money and an absolute bargain in the current market

let me know if you have any other questions

    Hey,

In one of your post, you mentioned that you have a 140k+ mileage 07 Cayman S. I'm also in NC and I'm considering purchasing a 06 Cayman S with 90k miles. It looks like a lot of maintenance items such as water pump and clutch have been done and the owner seems responsible. However I'm curious what your ownership experience has been like post 100k miles. Have you had any issues and what kind of preventative maintenance have you done?
