I did, I have a 993 c4 red/tan that I am about to post on renn, It has 107,700 miles , Major engine out service at 106,886 top end rebuild and "while in there" freshened up the bottom end rod bearings bolts, rings by one of the most respected shops on the east coast.At the same time new clutch, rotors and pads, all fluids changed...
