Description:
I've had my car for about 10 years now, it's one of the last 981s to roll off the assembly line in 2016 when I purchased the allocation.
Specs:
- 2.7L Base w/ Manual, White w/ black standard interior, 18" Cayman wheels, 80,000 miles
- Leather Package in Black (door armrests and gauge cluster hood I think)
- PASM
- 14-way Memory heated/cooled seats
- Power folding mirrors
- Sportdesign steering wheel
- Premium package (auto dimming mirrors, rain sensor wipers, 2-zone auto climate control, auto start/stop remembers to stay off)
- PDLS (xenon lights)
- Seat belts in grey
- Base audio system completely replaced by a $8000 (2016 dollars) stereo. Looks completely stock. Kenwood head unit, Illusion Audio tweeters/4" midbass, 8" bass in the door panels, AMP/DSP and time alignment performed. Kenwood unit has carplay, but needs a new USB-C cable run instead of the old Apple connector. I'm not expecting a price premium for it, but it's a huge quality of life improvement over the original PCCM.
- Windows tinted (not too dark) and front bumper PPFed.
- PTV added via PIWIS (torque vectoring by brake, but no physical LSD)
- Piezo door lock chirp thing purchased from a member on this forum, also have the OEM honking one.
- Black aluminum dash trim (and original silver plastic bits in a box)
Updating with some info I forgot in the op:
- Tires are Michelin AS4s, oem sizing, installed July 2023
- Last alignment performed Jan 2026
- Battery is a 60Ah lithium from Antigravity installed Dec 2025
Update 2 to answer some questions:
Carfax does show the aforementioned accident. No frame damage or airbag deployment. Bumper had to be removed, patched, repainted, and PPF replaced - minimal stuff. Approx $1500 repair at the body shop.
Carfax also shows the car as 2 owners: I'm both of them. I traded my car for a Civic Type-R in Jan2020 after having a kid, then bought it back <24h after some seller's remorse - I'll try to be a little more resolute this time around.

Friendly reminder that publicly posting interest or an intent to purchase attracts scammers, who will respond to you pretending to be the seller, trying to get you to text or email them so they can try to convince you to pay them via Zelle or PayPal Friends and Family or a similar unprotected method.
It should go without saying that a public response beckoning private contact, particularly one with personal contact information like a phone number or email address, is a giant red flag.
You should send the seller a message directly instead of making those kinds of posts in public.
If your account is new, you'll need to go make a few posts (the welcome forum is great for this), wait about half an hour, and then you'll be able to send/receive private messages.
