Hi, I have a 2019 992 Carerra S. I’m thinking of changing from iPhone to Android and wanted to check if my car supports Android Auto? (I know it support ls wired / wireless car play as I use it every day). Thanks!

 

No, AA was only standard equipment on the 992.1 from the 2022 model year with the introduction of PCM6. However, I've seen someone advertising a hack for the PCM5, but I can't remember if it was on RL or another forum.

 

Good move switching from an I phone. Not a fan. I never used AA till recently and I started on my newer M2 and now I love it so using on my 992.1 T. I don't drive without it now. Waze on one screen and I-heart or Qobuz on the other.

 

If you an iphone which is supported by your 2019 992, why would you want to switch to an Android which is not supported?

If you really want an Android phone, just upgrade your 992 instead..
