Ok guys and Gals........were are in the last 24 hours of my 997.2 GT3 BAT auction. I am hoping for an exciting end (fingers crossed!)........be sure to have a look and feel free to comment and/or bid.
It''s hard to value a car that's been modified but if someone is looking for a deal on a solid car and has the ability to tinker, this car could prove to be an amazing deal. The fact that this car already has the buckets a minimum $15,000 cost less $3,000 for the stocks seats, you've just reduced your price paid to $163,000. If you played your modification cards right, you could be sitting on a .2 at a .1 price. Those Stoptech brakes are another 10k new so $6,000 used. If I were on a budget and looking for a great deal, I'd be all over this 997.2 driver. Pay the money, keep the buckets, sell off the brakes ($10k new, $6k used) and shocks, running price for the car could now be in the mid high 160k range.
DJN states they are Variant 2's but I'm seeing reservoir tubes on those rears. Didn't think Variant 2's has external reservoirs. Are they Clubsports because those are pricey.
Whatever the case is, it's a great price for the right buyer.
Car price: $175,900
Remove buckets $ 12,000
Remove Brakes. $ 6,000
Remove suspension. $ 3,000 est. $154,900
There is nowhere you can get a .2 for $154,900 these days.

Very nicely presented. Seems like great value to me...too cheap!?
GLWTS and the move!
Thank you Guys!
Well I have tried my best to present the car with all the answers.
It is rather difficult to price a modded car, but I did a goodly amount of research....in the end, I felt it was best to price it fairly to sell.....and hope that a fellow Rennlister will buy it, drive it as intended, and enjoy it as much as I did.
Good news....My GT4 RS, also for sale, has just gone (sale pending) ....have a look in the marketplace.

How does the RS compare to the 997.2? I have a .2 and the price delta between them is converging rapidly!
