Hi Rennlist members,
I was frustrated with the instability of drinks in the factory cupholders and decided to design my own for my 718, and after a positive reception from a few local PCA members, I decided to offer it for sale.
The result is a stable and convenient cup holder for your Porsche so that you can enjoy driving without worrying about the factory cup holders dumping your drink onto the center console or your passenger!
This design slips underneath the floormat and behind the center console to provide a stable base for the cupholder, there are interchangeable cupholder sleeves to allow for changing of sizes depending on what drinks you plan to take on your trip.

Thanks for asking! I currently do not have anything for the 986, and have rarely seen those cars around the local PCA events, so I might have a hard time getting my hands on one to design something for it. But if several people are interested, I will do what I can to track a car down and design something that will fit it.

I think it would be nice to have one for the 986. Rennline has a nice product, but it's not compatible with their fire extinguisher mount. I have that and miss on the opportunity of having a cup holder like yours. I would appreciate if you could make one for the 986, but please don't go out of your way or bend over backwards for this. Thank you!
Will this work on the driver side of a 991.2? Also, will it work on the passenger side with the passenger foot well net option?
Based on what I have seen, the fit is unacceptable on the driver's side because unless you are planning to use a very small cup, it will interfere with your right leg as you need to have your leg next to the console to reach the gas pedal.
It does work on the passenger side with the passenger footwell option, for best results, the passenger seat should be all the way back. I have also seen a customer use 2, installing the 2nd one over the luggage net and he is pleased with it.
