Description:

Description:
For sale is my 2011 Turbo S Basalt Black with Black comfort full leather interior. Clean carfax with no accident or damage. Nevada and Texas since 2012. I purchased this car in March, 2022 and have added about 8,000 miles under my ownership. Current mileage: 41,000

Key Factory Features:
Heat/ventilated seats
SportDesgin steering wheel w/ "correct" paddles
Center console painted in exterior color
Steering column casing in leather
XM satellite radio
Clear taillights

Since purchasing the car at 33K miles, I've also added:
19" AG Ruger Mesh Wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport PS4, 2023 DC and < 3,000 miles
Rennline Front Carbon Fiber Lip Spoiler
Rennkit eRam Electronic Spoiler Arm Kit
Rennline Black Stainless Dead Pedal
Speedtech 3" X-pipe and Quad 3" Exhaust Tips (factory cats)

Maintenance items during my ownership:
40K Service including PDK and drive belt at TPWS
Wheel alignment & suspension tuning by ATX Autosports
Motul 5W-40 8100 X-cess gen 2 -  Aug/22, Feb/23, Sep/23, Feb/24, and Jul/24
Cabin filter and air filter - Jul/24
Brake fluid flush - Feb/23
Front drive axle boots replaced with O.E. Porsche parts

Exterior (9/10) - The paint to my knowledge is all original. Front 1/3 (hood, bumper, fenders, mirrors, door handles, and rear bumper edges) covered in protective film. Some very minor stone chips on L&R rear lower panel below the air inlet (missed by the factory protective decals). Wheels are free of curb rash and Michelin tires were balanced within the last 6 months.

Interior (8/10) - The comfort seats age way better than the sport seats and are still in excellent shape. The seat cushions are firm and leather show very little sign of wear. Interior imperfections are 1. a 1" nail scratch on the driver side door card and 2. a soft paint bubble by the driver side door handle.

Mechanical (10/10) - Other than the exhaust system and aftermarket wheels this car is completely stock. TPWS found the car to be in excellent condition during 40K service and baseline inspection in Oct/24. Both the suspension and ceramic brakes are also in excellent condition. I wanted to premptively replace the water pump, but was advised it's not necessary.

More about this 997.2:  Based on carfax this car received very good service at regular maintenance intervals. Under my ownership this car was never tracked or driven wrecklessly on the street. I also keep engine RPM below 3K until oil pressure is at normal operation. PPI or TPWS service reference welcome and I'm happy to cover or deduct repair cost from sales price

Edit: Forgot to mention the previous owner also installed Escort hidden radar detector with front and back radars. OE parts removed (front lip spoiler, exhaust system and exhaust tips) will be included with the sales.

Edit 2:
DME over rev report: It's my understanding PDK has protective measures in place to prevent over-revs, therefore I don't have a report at this time.
Error codes: No codes, can pull screenshot from icarsoft scanner
HVAC: No blend door actuator problem at this time (no foams coming out of vents) and AC/heat working just fine
PCCB: It's my understanding weighing the ceramic rotor is a more accurate way to determine whether it needs to be replaced. PPI will be needed and welcomed.  However, the original pads have plenty of life left and the rotors are looking like new and not glazed at all. Porsche Austin performs annual state inspection and check out. Never had issues with tires or brakes.

General upkeep: To my knowledge this car is always garage kept (include during my ownership) and connected to the battery charger when it's parked.

Wish I had seen your ad 2 days ago. Just to purchased a 2011 Turbo S Cab. You have a beautiful car; shouldn't have any problem selling it.

Hi -

I updated photos to include the interior imperfections. The soft paint bubble problems can be seen near the window switches. I'm sure some interior trim paint will easily address the blemishes. The nail scratch just happened within the last few months. (I'm super bummed about it). I was going to pay a shop to take care both the scratch and the paint issues.....

Sorry, I forgot to answer your other questions.

I'm pretty sure this car was ordered without the sport seats because it has the venitlated feature and buttons on the dash. I don't belive venitlation is available for sport seats. Someone more knowledgeable can chime in....I heard somewhere that the ventilated/heated seats combo on a TTS is fairly rare.

I don't have the original window sticker, unfortunately.

TTS Cab is double the fun! I recently picked up a Boxster as my "return to office" commuter car. My first convertible... It's the most fun car ever. I love driving with the top down so much.

Never owned a Porsche and have never had a convertible, and I have owned a lot of cars and SUVs in my 46 years. I am excited and can't wait to receive my vehicle

Turbo cars don’t have heated and vented sport seats
to my knowledge no Porsche sports seats had A/C and heat prior to the 992

My understanding is this - seat options for the 997 turbo generation (US)

997.1 = adaptive sport seats w/heat or standard seat, which was also heat capable
997.2 = adaptive sport seats w/heat capable or standard seat with both heat and ventilation (so someone wanting ventilated seats would need to order the ones found on this car

The adaptive sport seats can be added to this car. Likely not as readily available as they were back in the day. (I swapped to them in my 997 turbo and it was an easy job.)

GLWS OP!

I think you're spot on. I've never seen ventilated standard seats in 997.1. I suppose 997.1 owners can retrofit ventilated seats assuming they are also plug & play just like the adaptive sport seats.
