Description:
2002 Ferrari 360 Modena Coupe, 24,886 miles, striking NART blue with tan leather in full power with blue deviated top stitch. Very complete service records including full belt service in 2020. No accidents shown on Carfax, Car Vertical, or AutoCheck but CarFax (not the others) has ‘fire’ notation in 2006 for which I nor anyone can seem to find any evidence. I've a signed statement from previous owner and tech stating no evidence, and contacts to FD, insurance yielded no claim.
Car is very nice outside, inside and underneath. Super clean everywhere; wheelwells, trunk, engine compartment. All sticky switchgear corrected. No garage drips at all. Full FabSpeed exhaust to replace crack-prone originals. Very large services done 2020 by Craig Calder of FastCars LTD (formerly Tillack) in Redondo Beach including clutch, timing belts, reseal, rollover valves, alarm, much more ($22k) for multi collector client.
Three-ring binder of service receipts, in date order. Originally sold at Shelton Ferrari (window sticker), then sold to collector in Houston, then to Southern California from 2015-2023 when I got it.
Installed 60-month AGM battery 3 months ago. All reachable grounds on the car have been pulled, cleaned, and reseated with Stabilant 22. Car has fully bright dash lights, all switches work, interior and courtesy bulbs replaced with LEDs. Full fluid service (engine, gearbox, coolant, brake flush) just completed.
Car starts first twist of key, idles evenly at full oil pressure, no smoke. Pulls strongly through all gears, clutch is excellent up and downshifting, sounds glorious, stops with authority. Recent fluid and filter service including gearbox, shifts wonderfully. Michelin tires are from 4/20.
All gauges and power accessories work, including windows, locks, mirrors, fans, wipers, factory radio. Full factory tool kit with leather straps recently replaced. Factory car cover and dash reflector shield. The car has all 3 key fobs including a polished aluminum factory key head.
Paint is wonderful all over with incredible gloss. Light correction and ceramic done in October 23, healthily maintained since. Paint meter readings clear and consistent. Front fascia likely repainted. Light clearcoat clouding on roof (very hard to photograph). All clear stone shields replaced (not a fun job!), no door dings. Almost every fuel stop, someone remarks about the color.
Interior leather is incredibly nice, including entry bolster with virtually no wear or discoloration. Carpet and headliner excellent. Dashboard is nice and smooth without wrinkling (always garaged plus dash cover). Door panels are nice, clean, uncut. Even retains factory speakers and factory system. A discreet phone charger hides in the blank switch are under button cover in console.
Overall this is an exceptional car that looks superb, runs incredibly well, has clear history and solid maintenance. Figures show just 469 manual 360s with only about 10% in blue, so not a lot to choose from. Priced at $129,500 outright or trade toward Porsche 993 manual or Porsche 911-50 or Club Blau or 991 GTS Targa. Plus or minus on cash depending.
Regarding your trade ideas, it's always fascinating to see people's view that the grass is greener elsewhere. I am no exception.
