Originally shipped to Champion Porsche in Pompano Beach. Single owner throughout its entire life in South Florida. Vehicle was obtained by Napleton imports in the Chicago Suburbs in 2021. I purchased the car from Napleton on February 6, 2021 with 41,869 miles.
The car was promptly serviced by Andy Speed and Suspension recommended by LN Engineering. There were no range 2 over revs. The oil was sent for analysis. With the sump plate removed, the lower cylinders were analyzed using a borescope. Cam deviation was within normal limits. Engine wear was consistent with mileage. Oil analysis was perfect. At that time, an engine out service was completed which included the following:
LN IMS single row pro IMS retrofit IMSR #35919,Genuine Porsche AOS replaced, Genuine Porsche AOS vent lines, Genuine Porsche water pump, OEM serpentine belt, OEM coolant tank, Thermostat replaced,Vacuum leak test completed, New NGK spark plugs, Flywheel bolt, OEM Sachs clutch, OEM rear main seal, Replacement front wheel bearing (driver front)
Upgrades: Complete Porsche OEM Aerokit including 996 Cabriolet fixed wing, the rocker Aerokit and GT3 style front bumper were all sourced and painted Speed Yellow. The console and hardback sport seatbacks were painted Speed Yellow which would’ve been an option in 2003. Upgraded hollow spoke lightweight Sport Techno wheels were also sourced and powder coated gray. New Continental tires were installed. Custom graphics were added and the entire car was paint corrected and ceramic coated including the wheels. There is no PPF on the car.
The Porsche PCCM Classic radio with Apple CarPlay and Google Android Auto was installed professionally. An escort radar detector with “blend mount“ was also installed. Receipts are available for all recent service and parts. Reason for selling: Need a PDK PCar for long road trips.
