Description:
Hey guys, I’m a PCA national instructor looking to sell my 2006 Cayman S track car.
This is an amazing platform and I never planned to sell this car. However, I have an opportunity to purchase a newer Cayman S with a more aggressive track build.
Attached is June 2024 oil analysis.
I bought this car almost 2 yrs ago from an employee of Vision Motorsports in CA.

This original post lists many of the mods, mainly the new engine:
"New 3.4 crate motor updated by Vision Motorsports, LN Engineering IMS bearing, Weld gear to shaft, Upper & lower gaskets - New water pump & oil pump, Knife edge & machine crank to Vision specs. Machine heads to Vision specs, Carrillo connecting rods and bolts - 5L extended oil sump & 996 swirl pots, LN magnetic drain plug"
Additionally, the previous owner added: Center front radiator -AASCO lightweight flywheel, Sachs sport clutch -Wavetrac limited slip. -EVOMS air filter -Fabspeed long-tube wrapped headers with stock final muffler.
Currently, the car has 75K+ miles with 9K on the engine. I've done most maintenance myself with Motul 300V 5w/50 comp oil, Motul 300V 75w90 trans fluid, and SRF brake fluid at least twice a yr.
Additionally, I have added:
-Motorsport AOS
-997.1 larger oil to water cooler
-GT3 Trottle body w/ IPD plenum
-PS cooler
-GT3 brake master cylinder
-Stainless steel brake lines
-Serbo slotted rotors
-GT3 LCA front (Tarett Cup Series) and rear (SPC)
-Tarett rear locking adjustable toe arms
-GT3 front and rear brake ducts
-Function First solid shifter ends and shifter
-LED Spars
-AutoBlip rev match
-RSS harness bar and Schroth 2x2 6point harness (both uninstalled)
-Apex SM-10 WheelsFront: 18x9" ET46 // Rear: 18x10" ET36
Lots of OEM parts and spare parts. and lot more I can't think of right now. Cars mechanically in superb condition. Track oil temps never over 230. Interior is perfect except for the headliner which I cut out bc of sagging. Let me know if you have questions and we can go from there. Thanks, Amir

I can tell you cayman R with PDK will keep up but unless it’s a really really good driver, they don’t get point bys on track often.

I can tell you this car will not disappoint. The owner is a stand up guy. If you are looking for a street/track blend this is the car to buy. GLWS.
