Description:
FS pair of sports seats, manual except for recline. They will fit 997/987 and perhaps others. These came out of a 2007 997 GT and were used by me in a pair of 987s, a 2007 Boxster S and a 2012 Cayman R. Seats had about 37,000 miles on them when I purchased them from a 997 owner. I had the worn and pilling center Alcantara replaced with NOS Porsche script fabric by Classic 9 Leather, a very good upholstery shop who sourced the fabric. I had a paint shop spray the backs in gloss black, which now have a few scuffs from being in the Boxster. The seats were disassembled for the upholstering and painting, with the mechanism cleaned and lubricated. There is a slight wobble, maybe 1/2 inch, if the DS seatback is pushed back and forth, that I understand is common. It is unnoticeable in use.
The seats are not heated. The fabric is grippy and more comfortable than the Alcantara. The leather has no tears or rips, it is worn in the bolsters as shown, mostly on the DS. All controls and motors work.

Two double walled wardrobe boxes from Home Depot allow for sport seats to be packaged safely assuming you're taking the effort to wrap the seats inside with plenty of padding. Source: I've done this twice and they've arrived unscathed each time.
The downside is that you'll pay a few hundred per box to ship and probably spend several hours in packaging them properly for the transit. It is a royal pain in the ***.

Anyone who checks my posting history will know I've been a member for years and have bought and sold a ton of parts and cars on marketplace. The seats are in Michigan waiting for a new owner.
