Description:
PUTTING OUT A FEELER TO SEE IF A RENNLISTER HAS INTEREST IN THIS SPEC -- I WILL BE ABLE TO POST A FULL LISTING IN A FEW WEEKS. THE CAR CAN BE VIEWED IN SANTA MONICA IN FEBRUARY. CARFAX ATTACHED BELOW.
We're moving to a new place in SF that can only fit our Mini Cooper, and I'm not interested in keeping this car on the street in this town(!). It's currently at Land Rover Santa Monica to fix a door rattle, so I don't have interior pics -- but for reference I'm including two photos from a listing with the same spec.
In short:
- I've has this car since ~500 miles and it is currently approaching 15k miles
- High-spec R-Dynamic HSE with 21" wheels, black exterior trim, heads-up display, massaging seats, etc.
- Ceramic coated / paint corrected at <1000 miles (5-year coating incl. wheels and interior piano black parts)
- NOTE: I was side-swiped in 2022, with repairs done at Cars Dawydiak in SF (high-end consignment / repair). No frame damage, just panels/wheels replaced. They did a great job -- even ceramic-coated the new surfaces -- and I've had no issues in the ~5,000 miles driven since
- Carfax report from Nov'23 is attached here
This is a great car and I hope someone else can enjoy it. (Helpfully, Land Rover has not changed styling much so it looks quite current.) I've been able to keep it unusually clean since I've always lived in the city and never subjected it to the daily grind / commute. Most of the miles have been freeway runs between SF and LA during covid lockdowns (it's fantastic for long hauls).
The exterior spec is perfect, in my opinion: I like the white roof + rails (as opposed to the signature black roof, which looks better on full-sized RRs or non-white cars) as well as the satin grey wheels versus shiny black. 21" wheels look great on this car and have not compromised ride quality. The black trim avoids any awkward grey plastic or chrome parts. The P380 engine has good pickup / tightened suspension in sport mode.
The exterior photos shown are from the day I got it ceramic coated. Exterior is still in great condition but shows minor wear. I hope that I've kept this car far better maintained that what can be found on dealer lots. (Note: I don't currently have access to the car for interior photos; those shown are from an identical spec.)
16k mile service completed last year. Warranty expires in June 2024. Only maintenance issues have been some O2 sensors (replaced under warranty) and the current door rattle (plus the aforementioned sideswipe accident, a hit-and-run drunk driver in SF... sigh).
Pricing at $45k to reflect the low miles / one owner history, but also to acknowledge the sideswipe on the Carfax (attached). Compare to a more recent ~2022 car at $70k+. For more direct comps, I can only find two similar-mileage HSE cars from 2019, at $44k in NY and $50k in TX:
