Porsche 993 Recaro, OEM Softback Sport Seats. These are the rare Softback Sport Seats. They were used until approximately mid-February 1995 production. From that point onwards, sports seats were the later "hard backed" style. So, for roughly 17 months of 993 production (13 months on cars destined for North America as production for that market began later), these were the optional seats.
Beautiful, unlike the more common hardback, they offer refined elegance and style; double stitching with no piping gives them a smooth accent. If you are a rennlist member, you know that the Late Rudy Mancinas aka OPO bought these from me and many other rennlist members know the quality of LARTS seats, I was considering retiring due to the price of Sport Seat cores, but I was able to buy some from rennlist members and some from the marketplace and some from Europe. I just sourced another set of sport seat cores ready to be done at the finish of your choice.
I have been offering these seats for over 20 years and have hundreds of satisfied customers. New foam is installed as needed, all power switches tested and replaced if necessary, rails are re- painted and lubricated, you won’t find better seats with this kind workmanship anywhere else.
Both are powered. My seats are second to none, reupholstered with Nappa top tier Leather, same Grain and perforations as the OEM Factory Recaro seats, for 964 & 993. These are partial leather just like the factory, only back rest surface and seat bottom surface are leather. But can be done in Full letter by request at extra cost.
Handling time is 5 business days and includes free shipping to the CONUSA, no shipping to PR, AK or HI.
Seats will require direct signature for delivery and will be shipped fully assembled.

i love the design of these sport seats and the fact that they are basically a footnote in porsche sport seat history. i have the sports in my '90 C2 and they've always been a favorite of mine. had them in my RSA 20 years ago - in cloth obviously. i wish i could have found a pair of these years ago before the sport seats of 964 and 993 blew up in price. i think it would be a cool curiosity to have the softback sports in my '97 C4S for people who know to question their placement. since my 4S came with standard seats, i'm running 996 sport seats in it.
The best seat for my 993 period!! Do Not hesitate. I have owned every 993 seat, wish I had extra$ to put a pair in my living room.
I would toss the rest of the furniture, all u need imho

Cashmere set is done, the leather is not completely relaxed yet so they will ship next week, once the we complete our process all wrinkles will go away, weather is not helping we have rain and a lot of humidity until Friday. This is the first set of 993 Soft
