This 1971 911 S Targa is a stunning example that has recently undergone a comprehensive restoration, bringing it up to exceptional condition. Finished in beautiful Albert Blue, the restoration was based on an already very nice car that was then sorted to make sure that all systems function properly. During the restoration, the car was entirely disassembled and the paint was stripped by hand, leaving just bare metal. The sheet metal was then inspected, and minor repairs were carried out, and all of the chrome was sent off to be replated. Numerous coats of fresh Albert Blue paint were then applied, and new rubber seals were installed throughout the car.

The black leather and vinyl interior is largely original, with all of the elements being removed from the car before being cleaned and reconditioned and then reinstalled. Frequently on 911s of this vintage, cracking will occur around the speaker grille in the center of the dashboard but this car’s dashboard is essentially perfect. The one element that was replaced was the door pockets which are notoriously finicky and now function as they should.
