I have been getting a lot of people offering to sell me cupholders that are less than a week new with requests to call or email them directly. I'm hesitant to purchase from such a new member.

I still have not purchased any as of yet.

 

Cant blame you. Seems like a lot of scammers through this site. It's the reason I don't buy from members on here either unless they're local and can meet up.

 

@leftlane I can understand not wanting to be paid via Amazon gift card, I also mentioned that Paypal could work, if paypal would let me make a payment without as paypal account. I just don't know what methods even exist, I just know that I use very few online payment methods (none). I also get the scammer part, I mean I have spent the last 3 months here making over 100 posts, asking questions, and contributing answers just to get build up enough to scam 2 ultimate cupholders /s.

@leftlane If you are going to break the forum rules, you should at least post the full private message, you post above was disingenuous, by selectively only relaying part of my private message to you. To attempt to clear my besmirched name, here was my message to leftlane in full

"I see you posted you have 2 Ultimate cupholders you would be willing to sell.

If the original posted of the wanted ad does not take them I would be interested.

Full disclosure, I don't use paypal, nor do I use venmo, etc.

I am am avid user of Amazon though, so maybe (up to you) I could do an Amazon gift card for the appropriate amount, if that would work. I guess (*think*) I could pay with paypal even without an account ... not really sure.

If we get that far and you are wanted to sort shipping costs, I am in *somewhere* @ *ZIP*.
