I bought this car as a non-runner last year and have put a lot of time and parts into getting it on the road, but I have a 997 project that is taking up all of my time and this one needs to go to someone who will give her the attention she deserves. The good: Red 944S unmolested that has spent a good portion of her life in Sunny California. It is a 5-speed. The timing belt was changed about 1500 miles ago. It has a clean Pennsylvania title and clean CARFAX. The bad: It cranks but won't start. When I got it it wasn't getting spark. I basically replaced every part outside of the DME (it was good) to get spark to the plugs. It now has spark and fuel (after a new fuel regulator and air meter) but won't idle due to low compression. I had a mechanic look at it and he thinks the rings are stuck from sitting. The paint is a bit faded, but should come back with a good buff. The dash is cracked (of course...aren't they all?) otherwise it is very presentable and an excellent project.
