Description:
1989 Porsche 944 N/A in the streets, S2 in the sheets. Built for HPDE, canyon and coffee runs, and just general spirited driving.
Only the body is base model; suspension, brakes, and staggered Cup 2 wheels from a 944 Turbo. Refreshed S2 motor with lightened flywheel and new clutch, machined crank, and Accusump pre-oiler. Front bumper mounted Baja Design LED driving lights. Engine swap was done in 2021 and has about 13k miles since then. New tires were installed at the same time.
Black Sea rebuilt torque tube, strut tower and sway bar braces.
Lindsey racing shifter with turned wood shift ****, Spacro fixed position drivers seat with 5 point harness, Recaro passengers seat with Schroth Rally belt (have a matching 5 point for passengers side to make it HPDE compliant). Roll/harness bar, rear deleted with covered lower foam, custom center console with Apple CarPlay, or Android, head unit, and homemade coffee cup holder for those early morning drives.
The right front fender was recently repainted after some paint peeled off when removing a decal. The area in front of the left rear wheel was repaired several years, rust. Otherwise to best of my knowledge the paint is original and shows its age and use with chips and scratches.
Will include a GTS style adjustable rear wing and front splitter, the original pop up head lights, new seals for the sun roof, other various bits, and a Haynes manual.
Car has an electrical drain that is unknown so there is a battery cut off switch in the glove box, and a Battery Tender plug under the hood.
Runs and drives great, I just don’t get to drive it as it should be often enough, and after 12 years it’s time for some else to enjoy it. I’ve spent the entirety of my adult life in debt and need to get out from under it, another reason for letting it go. I am sure I will it miss every day but will move on, maybe a 911 in a few years when life is sorted.
Was Jim of Fairfield County Motorsports, now of Repasi Motors, rainy day track car before my steward ship and he oversaw all the upgrades and service.
$12k or best offer.
