Description:

Finding an original, unmodified 996tt is certainly becoming increasingly more difficult. On 12/21/21 I was fortunate to be able to acquire this 996tt finished in Slate Gray Metallic with 89,200 miles from a gentleman that lives just an hour north of me. He had purchased the car from Trissl Motorcars in Florence,AL on 6/14/18 when it had 74,043 miles on the clock. Prior to its time in AL, the car resided in Southern California having been originally delivered and sold on 1/20/01 at Hoehn Porsche in Carlsbad,CA.
With the exception of the HRE rims that were fitted by a previous owner and the addition of the clear front marker lens, this 996tt has not been modified in any way and even still retains its original stock exhaust.

With a sticker price of $129,510, this 996tt is equipped with the following options:
Base Model
059 Delete Front Bumperettes
662 PCM
680 Digital Sound Package
692 Remote CD Changer
982 Supple Leather Front/Rear
AO Full Leather Interior
XMZ Rear Center Console Leather
XPD 3 Spoke Steering Wheel Carbon/Leather
XXZ Footwell Lighting
513 Lumbar Support Right Seat
586 Lumbar Support Left Seat
E73 Carbon Interior Package
YO5 Brake/Shifter Carbon/Aluminum
M6A Black Mats Porsche Lettering

I believe in transparency, and full honest disclosure of any known"faults" with the car. This is  a 22 year old turbo that is has not been modified. It is an excellent example, presented in a highly desirable color, and is presently well configured to meet my my personal driving needs for how i utilize this car. I believe that if the known "issues" are disclosed up front,  then any prospective buyer that is still interested will be pleasantly surprised from that point on as they learn more about the car. I share shop space with three of the finest Porsche mechanics around so I have the resources available to maintain this car and, if I desired to do so, take this turbo to another level. I believe most  enthusiasts appreciate originality, especially if they want to "build" a turbo up from a known starting point.

THE GOOD
Clean Carfax. No known history of accidents or paint/body work
No Dings, Scratches, or Interior Tears
Smooth Shifting Gearbox. Never any issues with the dreaded 2nd gear popout
Mezger Motor
Unmodified and Stock
Slate Grey Metallic
Garage kept
Car has resided in CA & AL

THE BAD
No Owners Manual
One Key
Original Shocks/Suspension is getting tired
Horn recently stopped working
PCM Screen has degradation
Cracks are present in the top Carbon Section of the Steering wheel
Rear Spoiler Actuators are not operative
Rear Tailight lens have stress/heat cracks
Clearcoat on top of Sideview mirrors has some deterioration
One very small rock chip on Lower Front Hood ( damage to clearcoat only)
Tires have sufficient tread but are old . Fronts are dated 2013. Rears are dated 2017

Service Under Present Ownership
Oil & Filter 2022
Alternator 2022
Cleaned Front Radiators 2022
Water Pump, Thermostat, Replaced Thermostat coolant Hoses/Clips,Coolant Flush,Spark Plugs, Serpentine Belt  2022
Starter 2023
Oil & Filter, Air Filter, Cabin Filter 2023
Brake Pads, Rotors,Sensors 2023
Replaced Front Outer CV Boots 2023

Reason For Selling
I currently have four 911's ( which from a space standpoint is one too many!) and I recently acquired a 6 spd 997 GTS .
This is a great 911 and I will continue to put miles on it until it is sold.
Please reach out with any questions or if you want to request some specific photos of the car.
Thanks!

Looks more like Slate Grey to me than Seal. Maybe check the color code in the options sticker under the hood. I think that has a paint code on it. Rarer color if so.

With the faults represented, more like a 35-40k car.

So then make your offer! OP can ask whatever he wants. At least he’s acknowledging the “faults” as you call them! A buyer will pay what they agree on. A buyer looking for a 01 Turbo with the miles this one has most likely knows what needs to be repaired/replaced. Nobody cares about your opinion on value.
