This model was only available for 2 years from '07-08 before the update to the 987.2 platform in '09. This car has the 2.7L M97 engine which is known to be the most bullet-proof and resistant to some of the most serious issues that plague the 3.4, 3.6 and 3.8L variants to a higher degree - things such as bore scoring are unlikely to plague this 2.7L engine thanks to its cast pistons, and IMS bearing issues are less common on all post-2005 M97 variants due to their larger bearing compared to the M96. Clean oil analysis results going back to 2019 show that the engine is in great health.

As they say, you buy the owner as much as the vehicle, and the current owner has kept meticulous mechanical and aesthetic care of the car since acquiring it in 2018. Full records of each repair or improvement during these 5 years are cataloged and include things like H&R lowering springs and Bilstein B8 sport shocks, new OEM control arms and transmission mounts, period-correct Carrera Classic 19" wheels and 997 sport steering wheel, stainless steel brake lines, wheel spacers (12mm front, 15mm rear), frequent oil changes (Driven DT40) with clean analysis results, new battery, shifter improvements, replacement OE catalytic converters and recently installed Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires.

The exterior condition is excellent thanks to frequent washing and detailing care, but is not without a few imperfections commensurate with its mileage. A garage-kept southern California life has minimized aging and is rust-free, but the car does exhibit some rock chips on the forward-facing surfaces and windshield, and several minor paint imperfections that are difficult to see from several feet of distance. Wheel curb rash is minimal and entirely from previous ownership.

The non-smoker interior presents well with a pleasant subtle fresh leather scent, minimal seat wear, structurally sound seat bolsters, a DIY alcantara headliner, a recently replaced ignition switch, aftermarket coco mats (originals included), a 997.1 sport steering wheel, LATCH child seat hooks, and improvements to the well-adjusted stock shifter which easily falls into gear with confidence. There is a touchscreen Sony head unit with Apple Carplay, Android Auto and Bluetooth, and an aftermarket amplifier in place of the original tool-kit which powers the factory sound-package-plus (non-Bose) speakers and a 10" Rockford Fosgate subwoofer in the rear trunk.

All original user manuals are included, as well as both original keys. Several spare parts are also included such as extra new front lower control arms and hardware, a spare bank 1 exhaust manifold with functioning catalytic converter, several sets of brake pads, and some various original parts that were replaced during ownership such as floor mats, shift ****, original ignition switch and others.
