My 991.2 GT3 has the brushed aluminum trim and I'm thinking about changing to the black aluminum trim. I would want to change out the trim pieces in the doors too but I've read that the only way is to change out the entire door card, which sounds expensive. I wouldn't want to change the dash trim and not the door trim though. Any idea? Also did you go to carbon fiber in your car, or something else? Thanks!

EDIT: Brain fart. My car doesn't have the brushed aluminum door inserts. Been a long day!

Hey, correct! In order to change the door trim its the entire door card. The trim on the doors its riveted on, not sure why not make it like any other trim piece. I changed to CF and DB Carbon out of Germany sell the exact same Porsche weave and they sell the door trims which just go over the old trim. Let me know if you are still interested. Thanks

Thanks. Not sure why Porsche would make the door trim so difficult when all the other trim pieces are so easy. Just trying to decide between CF and the black aluminum, there are things I like about both options. I've heard good things about the DB Carbon.

I like the CF steering wheel so changing all the trim pieces made sense so it all matches. The black aluminum is very slick, it's my 2nd choice. The regular aluminum looks very plain/blah.
