If you would be ok sacrificing some functionality of the buttons on the wheel it could certainly be done if you were able to retrofit the quick release fitting to a newer street car. If you want full functionality (turn signals, high beams, push to talk, display change buttons, etc) it would likely be a more of a hassle than what would be worth dealing with, especially going into a street car. Another thing to think about is paddle shifters if you have a PDK.
