  • Mileage 112,000

Description:

2006 Carrera S Manual 3.8. The beautiful Atlas Grey on Sand Beige, USA car. Rebuilt title, 112000 miles, lower kms motor installed from 2008 model. No collisions.  Serviced at Turn 3 Autosport, extensive PPI incl. borescope was done at 99,000 mi. Car freshly paint corrected, and ceramic coated before storage. I also had the front bumper, hood, etc repainted to take care of paint chips. Comes with brand new 3 layer car cover, complete original leather owner's manual, tool kit, and service records. Asking 40k USD

Has mods, anything can be returned to stock. Brand new Ohlins coilovers, Kreisseig valved exhaust, lightweight flywheel, RSS motor mounts, gt3 shifter upgrade, stainless brake lines, OEM cooling upgrade. I built the car to drive with a similar experience to a gt3.

Maintenance. Brand new water pump, new thermostat, fresh alignment, new oem bushings and top mounts with the coilovers, new swaybar endlinks, new tie rod ends, fresh tires, fresh brake flush, fresh coolant flush, belts replaced, battery replaced, alternator replaced, new Kenwood android auto double din, replaced typical worn hvac buttons, new oem floor mats, lots of new trim around car. Will probably have new brakes on the front.

Known flaws: rusty wheel wheel bolts, could use a restored shifter/wheel leather. Dent on the passenger side rocker area, I haven't had any notice it. Paint is still perfect there. I may have those 3 things taken care of.

Car was stolen Oct 2015 and the motor was blown. Car was purchased by a Doctor in AB, he had Alpine Autowerks AB do the work. This owner is now in BC, and we chat from time to time.

Forgot the car can be notchy going into first, I don't even notice it, I always run into 1st from 2nd to first. I've been told new OEM fluid will likely clear it up. I've had a friend notice it, other Porsche guys have driven it and didn't even mention it.

Hey, the engine in the car has likely spun a rod bearing. It will need a rebuild or replacement. I'm undecided if I will be keeping it or selling it. I have plans in mind but feel free to send me a private message if you are interested and we can talk.

The car developed a knock over the course of a few minutes. I had it towed and we pulled the oil and filter. Send me a private message if you are interested.

I've replaced a couple worn items on the inside like a new OEM shifter and numeric cables. This car felt just perfect the week it blew up!
