Description:

Hi, I'm in a pickle!
I need a set of Porsche decals to finish the caliper painting job I did today...but messed up on one (did it before the paint dry, so the paint came off w the backing...)....

Does any kind soul have one that I can pick up?!!

I'd order some but they won't come until Jan!
I need to put my wheels on and drive my car!! (Can't keep borrowing the wife's?!)

I'm not real sure a decal is going to last very long on a Brake Caliper. Bake Calipers can get rather warm, to say the very least!

seems like the best practice is….

apply decal, then coat with clear coat…approx 3 layers…voila!

also many decal manufacturers say their decals are heat resistant for caliper use…for what it’s worth!

I can help too if needed. We do these for a lot of local autobodys and tuning shops in my area...(I own a graphics company). Correct, you want to clear coat after applying or they will not hold up long term. I always use premium 3m vinyl.

My brake decals held up fine to over 40 track days! Crazy to think powdercoated front calipers and decals would hold up, but they do.
