I am the 4th owner and have all service records back to when the car was new. The previous owners did a nice job of keeping the car in great shape with no expenses spared. This car has the newer M97 engine (MY2007 with more robust IMS) due to an engine failure at 11K miles. The engine was replaced under warranty by the dealer. The previous owner added some carbon fiber pieces to the interior and genuine Carrera II wheels that have been powder coated along with the exhaust tips.

I’ve worked out most of the minor issues (listed above) since purchasing the car in early 2022. I picked the car up in Los Angeles and drove it home to West Virginia and the car did great. As for remaining issues, there is one small portion on the front bumper (2 in x 1/2 in) where the clear coat has peeled and some slight wear on the driver seat bolster. The wheels were also etched by wheel cleaner applied by the previous owner's detailer, so I wet sanded them to cover the etching and applied wheel gloss to give them an even shine. The Carfax shows “minor damage” which is from a hood replacement prior to my ownership (have receipt for the work). I don’t know the details of the hood damage, but was told it was not a traffic incident.
