FOR SALE: 1984 944Spec with 2022 NASA Annual. NASA and PCA logbook. Spring 2022 maintenance by MidWest Eurosport included new racing balance shaft belt, new oil seal, & new engine mounts.
Last raced in May with SVRA at Road America best lap time was 2:50.38, near lap record for car class

One year old XL seat on slider and FIA rated Schroth harness good until 2026. Rod bearings replaced 1.5 years ago. Fires system engine and cockpit. Traqmate data system, Hardwired with switches for Garmin Catalist and CoolShirt system with bolted in tray on passenger side floorboard.
Comes with the following spares:
8 black cookie cutter wheels and 4 silver phone dials wheels, all with tires and most good to go for the track. One set of cookies have recent Hankooks 20 tread wear for endurance racing. All are racing, not concours condition.
Two spare cv axles, specially prepared by VFC Engineering if Chicago, I did not want cheap China knockoffs.
Three used front fenders, ready for prep and paint if needed. One from this car and the other two from a 944 parts supplier.
Tarret Engineering front sway bar. Rear might be as well but I am not sure.
New front Hawk pads with one race weekend.
One box of new rear Hawk pads.
Have been told cage is great, might be Hanksville.
New Lexan windshield 2021 installed by MidWest Eurosport.
New muffler with chrome tailpipe 2021 by Midwest Eurosport.
New AGM battery 2021.
Four or more new cans of ATE brake fluid. My new race car uses a different brake fluid so these will come with this car.
Ram mount for Garmin Catalyst which is hardwired.

---I bought this race car in 2020 in HPDE thinking I would race it. Many high-end aftermarket updates for racing 944Spec in NASA and SP1 with PCA. Little use before I changed to a single seater open wheel formula car. HPDE weekends at Autobahn, Mid-Ohio, NCM, a few TREC endurance races with NASA, and then one sprint race weekend with PCA (Road America Sept 2021) and then one with SVRA (Road America May 2022). Fastest lap of all 944Spec competitors at the 4 hour TREC race at Mid-Ohio 01:47.393; Fastest 944 in the SVRA races I was in including against those with the 2.7L engine, 2:50.38 at Road America May 2022. Well cared for with service and repairs by Midwest Eurosport, VFC-Engineering, and Michael Dearstyne. New engine belts, new engine mounts, and more details below. New really nice Lindsey fuel rail installed by VFC Engineering after the OEM fuel rail cracked. Yes, it’s Spec legal: 94Spec rule 13.6.6: “Fuel Rails may be replaced with any aftermarket fuel rail as long as it retains the stock fuel pressure regulators/dampers. Fuel pressure gauges may be added to rails.”

I anticipated using this care extensively including endurance racing and so I went high-end on everything I put in to it. My loss, your gain.
Cons: Some shifter linkage adjustments or trans tweaking may be needed, no problems racing at Road America or Mid-Ohio, but at a few corners at NCM it felt hard to downshift I think from 5th to 4th. Some panel colors slightly different in some lighting conditions.
