Exterior:
- Wheels are great. Some curb rash on rear passenger side (see photos).
- Paint looks clean, some minor wear and minor chips on hood and front and other places consistent with mileage.
- Lower trim driver side rear tire well is loose (photo). This was as is when I purchased the car.
- Interior trim inside the front bumper has come loose, again. I had Stevens Creek Porsche fix this, but the piece itself looks intact and in good condition.
- Tires: Michelin Pilot Sport 2 on 19" Carrera S Wheel
Interior:
- All switches work.
- Dashboard lights all work.
- Gauges all work.
- Leather is in great condition.
- Sticky climate control buttons issue is here. Previous owner had used some Sharpie to temporarily fix. I have new replacement buttons (Suncoast) I will include that need to be installed if this is of concern. Other buttons are fine.
- There is a small vertical stain on the rear passenger side of the seat (photo) - I'm not sure how hard or easy this is to remove.
- No warning lights except for "Service Now" at start (more on that below).
Driving:
- Overall: Outstanding.
- Shifting is smooth and fast.
- Steering as you'd expect with no unexpected vibrations or balance issues.
- Brakes are good, not sure of pad wear, I've not replaced the pads while owning the car.
- Engine power is excellent, with no unusual noises.
Service/Known Issues:
- Last service: 05/22/2018 at Stevens Creek Porsche. 12 year in-service + 80K miles service.
- Also at this time in 2018 I had Stevens Creek Porsche check intermittent PASM light failure. They indicate new front struts L and R and boots are needed. Seems about right given the mileage. I haven't seen the light come on recently though I'm sure on longer drives it will. It resets at engine stop/start. Quote was $7,465, from 2018.
- Battery replaced: 07/19/2016 (EverStart Maxx Lead Acid Automotive Battery Group Size H7)
- Car also due for oil change and fluids, and routine inspections.
- After I first bought the car in 2014 I fixed some minor things including interior trim for ignition and headlights as well as the two front trunk struts.
- I have a PDF of service records from Porsche Marin of previous 2 owners dating from 08/25/2014 back to 03/24/2006. They were quite caring (picky!) and had almost all work so far as I can tell done at Porsche Marin. I've used Stevens Creek Porsche for service.
Located in South San Jose.
Asking $59,000.
