Unlike the finicky Italian supercars, Porsches are meant to be driven and enjoyed. This car is tight, pulls strong and everything works.

The horizontally opposed 3.8-liter 355-horse powerplant with double overhead cams and four valves per cylinder and variable valve timing is an engine that fully confirms the notion that German engineering is next to cleanliness and will get the car to 100 mph supah fast.

What a phenomenal automobile! Porsche consistently surpasses my highest expectations. This car does everything exceptionally well. Its nice low end torque makes everyday driving a pleasure but get the revs up and you better hold on, this car will fly. I have never experienced a nicer shifting manual gearbox or better brakes. The steering input is almost telepathic, the fit and finish is top notch, the ride comfortable, the seats supportive, and all controls fall readily to hand. It doesn't get any better.
