Description:

Genuine Porsche VDO Quartz-Zeit Clock for sale. Was mechanically rebuilt by "The Clock Works" located in Eagle River, Wisconsin over a year ago.

Aesthetically, the clock looks good, but the black bezel surrounding the glass does show some wear. It can be installed "as-is", but if you are a perfectionist, it would be better to remove the bezel (easily removable since the rebuilding process required the removal of it) and respray it.

Buyer is responsible for compatibility and shipping costs are extra.

Nice piece, I would post it on Early S Registry or Pellican. Can you read date code on it? It looks like it reads 65, but 65-67 had green markings and different mounting

Thanks. I'll try posting it as recommended. It does read 65 but as far as I remember, it came from a SC....but you never know. These work great and keep accurate time as long as you don't have electrical issues elsewhere in the car that can affect the power to these clocks. I had two rebuilt by Clock Works and the one in my SC works great!

Thanks,
PN
