Hello Rennlisters,
I wanted to list here before it goes to BAT with the extra 5%. I bought this earlier this year and would not be selling so soon but the Freeze Point of my GT3 Touring is 11-29 with an expected March 2022 delivery which is way earlier than expected. 2009 is a very rare model which is the last year of the Mezger motor and the first year of the upgraded 997.2 interior. Im sure someone here has the exact numbers but I have seen total production of about 235 with a fraction of those being manuals.
The Good: It is very well equipped with an original sticker of $141870 with GT Silver metallic, Special Cocoa Leather, 220 Limited Slip Diff Lock, 342 Heated Front Seats, 431 3 Spoke Multi Function Steering Wheel in Leather, 541 Seat Ventilation, 619 Bluetooth Phone Interface, 640 Sport Chrono Package Turbo, 686 XM Radio, 810 Floor Mats in Interior Color, 870 Universal Audio Interface, CPA Thicker Leather Steering Wheel, RA Special Leather Cocoa, U2 GT Silver Metallic, XSC Porsche Crest in Headrest. The Cocoa Special leather is really nice. Im not sure if it is standard in Turbos but everything is Cocoa leather. This includes the dash and A Pillars all the way around the doors and the roof is Alcantara. All paint it supposed to be original but I have not had a meter on it. When I bought the car it came with the following mods: Champion VTG 68mm Turbos, DO88 Intercoolers, DO88 Inlet Pipes, BMC High Flow Air Filter, Sachs 2.5 Clutch, 1000CC Fuel Injectors, 4 Weather Tech floor mats and Tubi Race Version Exhaust with quad tips that sounds great. It was tuned by Sam By Design in California. It is supposed to make 650RWHP but I have not had it on a dyno. My butt dyno thinks is sounds very reasonable. Around 56,000 miles the previous did Bosch F5DP0R spark plugs, new coils, brake pads, fluids, fuel filter, replaced rear main seal and water pump, welded coolant fittings with Shark Werks Coolant Pipes and 4 new Michelin PS4 tires. All work was done at RS1 in Pompano Beach, FL. When I got it, the springs we so low it was nearly on the bump stops and had a PASM fault so I had Bilstein B16 Damptronic Coilovers which work with the factory PASM. During that installation we replaced and reboot front and rear CV Axles and an alignment. Additionally I replaced the front door regulator and latch, clutch accumulator, slave cylinder, power steering fluid reservoir, starter relay, and all fluids plus a Bovee Tune2Air for streaming. The car has been flawless since. I took it to Putnam Park for the Bluegrass PCA HPDE this fall and it performed great.
The Bad: It has a rebuilt title from running over a median under previous ownership. They replaced the suspension and wheels. I replaced the suspension again with the aforementioned B16 Damptronic. It will sometimes throw a check engine code for Insufficient Catalyst. The Tubi is catless and we think the spacers need to be replaced but have not done so. There is some scraping under the front of the car but nothing structural.
The car runs and drives perfectly and has been discounted for the title history. PM me me if anyone needs more details, pictures etc.
Thanks,
David

Looks like a good deal with all of those extras and maintenance, if everything else checks out. I like the color combo. Definitely a car to drive and enjoy. GLWS.
GLWS. Love this car but the title scares me. If you don’t unload this in the next few weeks I’d probably be interested in a PPI. Hope you get what you ask for though, she’s a beaut!
If any interested buyers would like a third party to view the car (myself), I would be more than happy to provide an outside eye. I am less than 5 miles from sellers Zip code as listed. As long as @993David would be okay with that. Just want to help facilitate as smooth transaction as possible for buyer and seller. GLWS!
