Description:

****PRICE REDUCTION***

Selling my slightly used SQS-G shifter and blipper assembly.   3R Racing in Denver, CO custom built the throttle blipper rod, mount and pedal assembly and installed the shifter conversion.  Shifter Conversion sold through the US/Canadian supplier AutoQuest Motorsports out of Florida.

Everything works as intended, decided to go back to the basics of classic heel-toe and H-pattern.

Price for both:  $2,100 OBO.   Shipping COTUS included.

Shifter conversion new is $6995

Product Background

This sequential shifter kit was originally developed by Cartronic Motorsport in Germany for Porsche to offer as an option for Turbo and GT models equipped with manual transmissions. Although Porsche AG funded the development of this sequential shifter unit, due to their upcoming PDK transmission they ultimately chose not to make this a factory option. After successful development by Cartronic Motorsports and their manufacturing partner SQS, they decided to offer the product independently through distributors and hundreds have been delivered to Porsche customers throughout the world.

How It Works

The concept was to develop a method of converting a traditional H-pattern shifter to a sequential, thus creating a race car driving experience in a Porsche street car using a conventional manual gearbox.

Fitment

  • 996 GT3/GT2/Turbo/Cup Car
  • 997 GT3/RS Gen 1 and II
  • 997 Turbo/GT2/GT2 RS
