Be very careful when purchasing an eBay airbag, there has been many fakes circulating on there especially if it's sent form overseas.

+1 here. I was sold a fake airbag on eBay as well. The seller may have changed his name but was listed under "mintmarmar" when I purchased earlier this year. That eBay seller now goes by a new name. The link above shows "manoxo-group" as the seller. In both cases, the airbag is listed as coming from Lorton, VA but then actually ships from the UK.

After sending the fake eBay airbag back, I purchased a new Macan leatherette airbag from sunset porsche for ~$800 or so, iirc. It fits and functions with my 991.2 GT genuine leather steering wheel perfectly.
