Description:
*price adjustment* looking to sell before winter
Up for sale is my 2007 Cayman w/997 front-end and Stage 2 TPC Turbo kit.
I purchased this car about 2 years ago from another RL member and have added approximately 6K trouble-free miles under my ownership. The car is very fast (to me) and the power delivery is very linear given the low-boost setup.
I'm only selling to move onto something new. Only have room for two "fun" big toys and the other toy is too near and dear to my heart ('64 Thunderbird convertible).
The Facts:
- 2007 Cayman S w/ $68,210 sticker. Original options include preferred package, Bi-Xenon lights, PCM 2.1, heated seats, and automatic climate control.
- Carrara White, Black Interior, with Birch Green Accents (aftermarket)
- 29,XXX miles, purchased two years ago ~22k miles
- ALWAYS garaged
- Never tracked by me, or by PO's to my knowledge
- Full paint correction and C-Quart ceramic coating performed recently ($1,500)
- Front bumper crack (me vs. curb) and dent on rear quarter (on car when purchased) refinished late last year by a very reputable local shop (PCA recco).
- Turbo recently replaced with a much more robust Garret unit, Tial BOV added to the setup to extend Turbo life (TPC kit did not have one, probably OK with low boost but shop recommended that we add one to reduce wear). The car was also tuned by Frank Smith, and is currently set to 3.5lbs (can increase 1lb if desired). Approximately 360 crank HP and a very linear torque curve.
- Fresh Oil change and check up <200 miles ago
- Fresh Pirelli P Zero's with only one season of use
The Mods: - Full 997 front-end conversion with RUF front bumper
- 996 GT3 Cup Wing on custom aluminum risers
- TPC Stage 2 Turbo kit w/ front center mounted intercooler. Fresh turbo and BOV added recently.
- KW V3 Coilovers
- Ruger Mesh 19" wheels wrapped in newer Pirelli P Zeros
- 997 GT3 Alcantara steering wheel (original available as well)
- B&M short shifter
- Birch Green accents throughout the car. Calipers and interior trim.
- Rennline throttle extenders (heel/toe)
- Alcantara headliner
- C-Quart ceramic coated
- Others as well, but above are the high notes
- Incredibly beautiful car. Seriously. Turns heads everywhere I take.
- Has been very reliable under my ownership. I've taken it on several full day 200 mile+ cruises as well as the occasional commute to work.
- It's a very drivable modified Cayman.
- Very fast, no not new GT3 fast, but fast enough to scratch the itch. Sounds great too.
- Always garaged and pampered.
- I don't have any records prior to my ownership. If you're up to some sleuthing there is plenty of forum paraphernalia relating to this specific car. It was also featured in Superstreet magazine a number of years back.
- Some minor paint imperfections on the corner of the hood that have been touched up. My guess is at some point someone had a hood strut get away from them when they were being replaced (it's hard to notice unless very close). Some chips around the edge of the wing.
- Interior door trim on the driver side has a chip by the door handle. The passenger side door pocket also has a few scratches on it. Easily replaced for $90, but you can't see it with the door closed, so never did.
- Alcantara on the steering wheel shows some wear. Not an issue to me, but I'll include the stock wheel (and a cup wheel) with the sale.
I'm open to hearing about interesting trades if you have them, but I'd rather sell the car outright.
Any questions please let me know & thanks for looking!

Certainly sorted and ready to go. I’m guessing 2-3x my list price to recreate and a great low mileage cayman to make your own/tweak if desired.
Happy to virtually show the car as well.

Long time lurker, first time poster. I'm very interested in this car. Please PM me so I can get in contact with you. I tried posting on your Rennlist wall due to not having the 4 minimum posts to activate PM's.
Thanks,
James
