E39 M5 was the first fast car that I've ridden in as a kid. I remember experiencing what torque was and the feeling in my stomach. Such a nice car. If I had the funds I'd buy it. GLWS!
So was this car purchased from EAG? More importantly, did it go through their rejuvenation program? It looks beautiful but if the rubber components and gaskets haven’t been attended to... Are the stock M5 rims available and are there pics of the HRE’s on the car. Was there a CF front lip or any additional aero on the front of the car? Lastly, could you take pics of the driver’s seat outer bolsters? I have been looking at a car similar to this at EAG. Thanks. Hiro
Yes this car has recently been through the EAG rejuvenation program. Part of this program is to address all items to include rubber bushings, gaskets or seals and replace as needed. I will take pics of the seat bolsters shortly and post. I do have the custom made carbon fiber front and rear pieces. I removed them and added brand new chrome grills to tone down the racer look. I have all the parts in case anyone wants to put them back on. I am considering another lesser expensive car at EAG, or just selling back to them.
This is a great opportunity to get an EAG BMW M5 at a great price.
I still miss and regret selling my 03 M5 and have not owned a BMW since then. IMO it's one of the last great BMW's ever built that's headed into the collector world. GLWS!
The M5 is being exchanged for yet another outstanding BMW with EAG. We have had a long standing business relationship for years and it makes best business sense to continue working with them when it comes to my BMW habit.
