OEM equipment: Full Bucket Seats, PCCBs, leather interior with yellow stitching, Sport Chrono, PCM/NAV. Purchased car from original buyer in March 2019 with 13,600 miles. Added the following items:
Performance upgrades: Upgraded Dundon GT3 exhaust and intakes (plenum, TB) with custom Cobb tune, GT3RS titanium muffler and K&N air filters. If you believe the dyno that Dundon did, this setup makes ~ 475hp. The difference is very noticeable.
Other upgrades: Original buyer tinted windows and added a wrap on the front end and sides. I got rid of various alcantara and plastic items and replaced them with leather equivalents, including the steering wheel, shifter, console armrest, dash end plates, chrono trim and side trim panels. All these parts have deviated yellow stitching. I also added yellow seat belts, a hardwired radar detector mount, Rennline aluminum pedals and AWE wind diffusors.
Maintenance: Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires replaced at 14,000 miles. 20k service performed.
I bought the car for $90k, and added $20k in upgrades to the car. I thought I was going to keep the car forever, but I've only driven it 3k miles since I got it and I've decided I need something a bit more practical for a daily. I realize the upgrades probably weren't the best investment, but you can be the beneficiary of my poor judgement! The car had a clean PPI and no overrevs on the DME report when I bought it and I haven't tracked it so that won't have changed.

I understand your point - so much time / money and then what ? But like art , sometimes it just has to be done because it is inherently beautiful. Doesn’t always make sense ! I’m in love with your car and I am not a big yellow fan. Wouldn’t change a thing ! May I ask , was the dyno done on your specific car and is it available ? Thanks very much - so gorgeous.
Thanks for the kind words. The dyno wasn't done on this specific car - it was done on one of the early cars that Dundon built with this config. I take all dyno readings with a grain of salt but the Dundon folks typically are straight shooters when it comes to performance gains and the car pulls much stronger than when it was stock, so I had no complaints about the performance for street driving.
Yellow is a wonderful color for the GT4...it must have something to do with the lines of the car. Although, to be honest, most colors work well on this design. The upgrades you made are sure to enhance the ownership experience; if not for you, then the next lucky owner. GLWS!
Can't go wrong with a GT4 with a Dundon setup! Love my Spyder w/ the race headers. Wonder how much difference the TB/Plenum + Muffler + tune makes... I just have the headers/filters -- which is pretty damn loud when you want it to be and quiet when you don't!
For the price, this is a steal for someone that values these types of upgrades!
