Description:
I am presenting my 56K mile 1996 911 Carrera 6-speed coupe for sale. The car is finished in arena red metallic over a cashmere/black interior. The car is a factory LSD/ABD car.
FULL DISCLOSURE: At some point in the car's life, it was involved in a frontal impact. The CarFax shows no evidence of salvage title or that there has ever been any accident damage to the car. A PPI from a reputable Porsche shop did not find evidence of this prior to my purchase of the car. Once I took possession of the car, it was serviced at Planet 911 in Edmond, OK, by Cory Jump. Cory found evidence that the front clip had been repaired and the hood had been replaced. The front bumper cover had also been replaced with a 993 euro turbo front bumper cover. The headlamp washers were replaced with aftermarket units that are not currently functional. Unfortunately, there are no service records prior to my obtaining the car besides what is documented on the CarFax. There are no receipts for the bodywork that was completed after the accident. The car aligns within Porsche specifications. Subsequent servicing has been conducted at Mayo Performance in Euless, TX, by Chris Amond. Most recently, the CEL will come on intermittently for a "random misfire" code. This seems to occur on startup after the car has sat for a week without being driven. If the car is driven multiple days in a row, I do not notice any issues. Chris at Mayo Performance believes this may be due to a stuck lifter as it is most noticeable on startup and then resolves itself with regular driving. The car drives extremely well, pulls strong, shifts smoothly, and stops well. I have kept a complete record of all parts purchased and services completed during my 2-year ownership of the car in a binder that will be included with the sale of the car. The car will also include a certificate of authenticity.

A significant amount of time, effort, and money has gone into maintaining and repairing the major systems of the car. Major work within the last 2 years includes replacement of all hard and soft brake lines, new brake rotors and pads, new Koni special active shocks with Porsche OEM M033 springs, new rear suspension drop links, new tierods, refinished Cup II wheels with new Continental tires in 2019, replacement of radio and OEM speakers, overhaul of AC system with new compressor and condenser/dryer, rebuilt climate control unit, Fister stage 2 mufflers, Porsche OEM wide oval exhaust tips, and much more.
Several areas of the car have been repainted. There are rock chips to the front bumper cover as well as the side skirts. This car is a driver. It does not pretend to be anything else. I believe in being as transparent as possible when presenting a car for sale. If interested, please contact me via phone or text at 580-220-7819. Serious buyers only. Thank you.
