Description:
About to take a big loss on a beautiful car. Vehicle has been waxed and detailed, I spent $6500 on the IMS, RMS, new clutch, ignition coils, New alternator and battery, and new tires in the last 3000 miles. I put a new stereo system and speakers in it including a mildly self powered subwoofer for fantastic music at over $1000 as well. This is my third personal vehicle on top of my wife's vehicle and now working from home I don't even drive it at all. It was pretty much a car that I just used to go 5 miles to working but now I'm working from home so I don't even use it for that. I only bought the vehicle about two years ago...yes, I am one of those people that buys toys and then sells them and loses their butt all the time. I bought it from a retired attorney who got this from one of his clients as a gift at retirement. Vehicle is in fantastic shape. When I had the vehicle with the Porsche specialist that did the IMS bearing upgrade I had them do a slight exhaust upgrade, the gundo, and now the car sounds like it should vs a grocery getter. It doesn't sound like a lowered Honda Civic, it sounds like a performance vehicle when you want it to. What I mean by that is only when you get on the gas do you even realize there is an upgraded exhaust, which I love because for me I don't always want to have the killer sound so you just shift accordingly. I have well over $28k in it In the last two years with the upgrades I literally just completed, but selling to move it fast at $20k with zero wiggle room. Please don't ask about wiggle room there isn't any. No test rides without a deposit because it is a sweet ride and although I appreciate folks wanting to take it out, not what I am into.
There are only two issues that I know of and I won't be addressing them prior to sale. The passenger side cup holder is wacky and doesn't work. There is also a slight light on dash it appears to use for lack of a better term individual pixels to make the speedometer numbers and such and where let's say there would be a number 50 (and 50 would be lit up as like 30-40 pixels to make the number) there are a few extra pixels to make it a little off. It is no big deal and that is all it is and a passenger or even during test ride you as driver probably wouldn't even notice it. Check out the pics may not even be able to Tell. Just full disclosure. Exterior has couple tiny Itty bitty knicks none bigger than size of a BB from a Red Ryder gun And not noticeable unless trying to find them. Please see pics.
Again, 20k firm. I am in Orlando, FL area and will not ship until funds are released to my bank account from my bank. Title in hand. Text only with questions. 4077584389

@stubble88 From what I have seen, sorted 2001 996s with comparable mileage have been selling for $21-$23K. You might get a flier here and there that goes for more or less. This particular car was a great deal with the work that the seller had done and the fact that he was the second owner. I was surprised it did not sell faster.
