And I thought I was in agony as did my wife when your 4S was gone. I’m only in to 1 month plan! Beautiful example. Well wishes to you sir. You’re killing me again.

A wise man one said " LIve every day as if it is your last" or maybe I read that on a bumper sticker somewhere. Regardless, if you start employing that philosophy maybe you (and wife) can muster the courage to give me a phone call and we can talk about taking you both out of your virtual pain. Thank you for the kind words. PS.: The plan works!

I know this car very well. I've bought and sold it twice and put about 30,000 miles on it. If there ever was a car that Porsche made that fit the slogan "it's not the cars, it's the people" this is it.
I picked it up from a guy who worked at a Porsche dealership. I don't think he ever titled it and suspect it came in as a trade that the dealership didn't want. It had been maintained by a reputable shop for quite some time, but it was in rough aesthetic shape, front bumper was a real mess, all the wheels had major curb rash, and it looked like someone used a paint scraper to remove the fender guards. I was looking for something I could work on and use as a daily driver with occasional track time, it fit the bill perfectly so I bought it.
I added new brakes, tires and did some minor engine work and planned to get a repaint and change out the black interior for red. I had two 911's at the time and wanted to sell one of them. I brought it down to the Hershey P-Car Swap Meet and ended up selling it to a fellow Rennlister. It still had the CUP II wheels on it and they were pitted and curbed pretty bad, we found the current 996TT rims at the same meet. The buyer, who had bought another my cars years earlier promised if he ever sold, he'd give me first dibs.
He brought the car back up to a high level of aesthetics with the repaint and used the car while his RSR project was under way. True to his word, he called me when he was ready to sell it after his RSR was ready after many long months of patiently waiting. We had kept in touch and I knew what work he had done to the car so after a couple of back and forth texts I bought it back from him without seeing it. The repaint and suspension work was immaculate.
I didn't need another car, I had just acquired a '15 991 C4 with a manual transmission, but I just couldn't resist having that 993 back, especially given the work that was put into it. I was glad to have it back but found myself wanting to take the 991 out more than the 993. I knew the current owner from our mutual interest in all things 993....I knew he was looking for a C2S so I called him and we made the deal over the phone. I agreed to drive the car from CT to FL and personally deliver it.
I've kept in close touch with the current owner and have followed the changes he made, one thing for certain, if who ever buys this car finds something wrong, he will make it right. I'd be happy to answer any questions on the car to anyone considering it.

Some members have asked privately if car is still available for sale. I may consider it for the right buyer and the right price. PM me for reasonable discussion. Thank you.

In re reading this thread I realized I never answered this inquiry so my apologies for that. Full windows out repaint was done in 2016 by a previous owner. All factory stickers were preserved and are present in and all around the car and engine bay. Car has no accidents if that is what you were asking. Top end/seals were redone (again) about 19k miles ago. Also by previous owner. This car has service records dating back to 1997. Mostly at Foreign Affairs Motorsports in Pompano Beach. I still service this car and most of my other cars there. Ask for Bobby if you want additional info on the car. Also anyone can call Anthony at Parkhaus1 who knows this car well as well. I replaced the valve cover gaskets last year less than 800 miles ago. Although this car is in my weekly rotation, I can't seem to put more than 50-80 miles per month regardless.
