FS: TRW Electric Power Steering Pump setup as used in the 997 Cup cars. Includes wiring harness with correct fuse and OEM Porsche Motorsport overflow bottle. The pump is used, harness and overflow bottle are new.

An electric pump is a performance upgrade many have done on Porsche 964, 993, 986 (Boxster), 996, 997 to reduce the engine drag of the hydraulic pump.

I bought this setup here on Rennlist for my 6-GT3 but decided not to install it. There are several threads about this upgrade for various Porsche models here on Rennlist.

The TRW pump used on the 997 Cup cars is the same TRW pump used on other European cars. I am unsure if this is an official Porsche part, however the seller I bought it from said it came off a 997 Cup car. The overflow bottle that comes with it is an official Porsche Motorsport part, however the cap on this pump does not include the nipple where it attaches so you would need to adapt a nipple to attach the overflow hose (easy), or source the original Porsche Motorsports reservoir cap with the nipple (not sure if available).
