ENGINE:
The ENTIRE engine was HEAD TO TOE rebuilt by COMPETITION ENGINEERING located in Lake Isabella, CA. They are the best of the best with 51 years of experience working ONLY on Porche's competitive engines. I have a detailed list of what was done.

TRANSMISSION
911 Carreras made in the '80s have gearbox issues of hard shifting and or slipping known to this make and model. The transmission gearbox is brand new. Done by EUROTECH motors from Walnut, CA. They are the best when it comes to Porche repair. Still under warranty, since it was done 2 months ago.

PAINT AND BODY:
It was done by one of the best CARSTAR in la Habra, CA. The car was sanded down to metal and ALL imperfections and dents were repaired. The car looks like the first day it was bought from the Porsche dealer. It's the original Guards Red/G1 code # 72060.
ALL external accessories were replaced from Pelican Parts and 5150 Porsche to keep the car as original as possible.
The car is equipped with a new front lip spoiler and retains its Euro side markers.
The car is being sold a deck-lid installed. However, there is an extra whale-tail spoiler and engine hood painted with the same color of the car if you are looking for a more classic look.

INTERIOR AND AUTOPHOLSTERY
Done by The Prestige Co in Anaheim, CA. All interior Vinyl was upgraded to premium quality leather. ALL panels, seats, steering wheel and dashboard. Car floor down to metal and covered by Dynamat (blocks heat, waterproof, and improves loudness and bass if you are into sound). Original German-style black carpet and seat styles were installed as well as a new convertible top.
A few upgrades: Water deterrent inner material inside of the door panels. Original glove box key. A well-located Bluetooth microphone.
The car is equipped with a new front lip spoiler and retains its Euro side markers.

SOUND SYSTEM
Custom Alpine PDX-F4 4-channel car amplifier - 100 watts RMS x 4 connected to Alpine SPS-610C component Type-S speakers in both doors. Rear speakers Alpine SPS-619C 3 way Type-S speakers. Alpine-CD-Built-in-Bluetooth-HD radio Apple-satellite ready app ready receiver. No sound distortion at all.

TIRES/SUSPENSION/ALIGNMENT
House Motorsports in Pasadena installed new struts, flush the brake fluid, and mount newly-refinished 16´´ Fuchs wheels with new 205/55 front and 245/50 rear Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus tires. A four-wheel alignment was completed at the same time. The included rear decklid with tea tray spoiler is pictured in the gallery, and the car is being sold with the standard decklid installed. Note that US-spec rear bumperettes have been installed along with a periscope-style third brake light.

1985 Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet is a European model that was imported from Germany to the US in early 1986. I bought the car in 2005 with 54k indicated miles, and it now shows 71,286 miles. The 3.2L flat-six was COMPLETELY rebuilt in 2006 at 64K miles. Its paired with a brand new G915/72 5-speed manual transaxle. The car has been repainted in the factory Guards Red, replaced all seals and trims. New set of Fuchs 16'' wheels. A spare rear deck lid with spoiler is included if you want the full turbo look. 40+ pages of service records, warranties, a clear Carfax and Autocheck.com report. clean California title. Porsche ownership certificate and original Porsche manuals are included.

Other additions:
Viper alarm keyless system, upgraded heated front seats.
Additional servicing within the last few years included new engine belts, spark plugs, and wires, transmission seals, a new steering shaft support ring, Interstate battery with warranty, upgraded motor mount, fuel filter, cylinder head temperature sensor, a lighter engine compartment insulation mat, and an engine oil change.
This car has passed ALL California emissions and is up to date with DMV requirements.
