Vehicle History
I am the third owner. Car was in Idaho for its first year, then in Arizona until I purchased it in April 2015, in California. We then brought the car with us when we moved to Minnesota in December 2015, and it's been here with us since then.
Reason for sale: my wife changed jobs, is now commuting 50 miles daily, and we can't justify keeping this as a toy. Since we have to sell it, it'd be great if it could go to another enthusiast!

Condition & Maintenance
- Exterior and interior are in amazingly-good condition for the age.
- The alloys are likewise in excellent condition.
- The front end of the car is covered with clear plastic protector, I think from the dealer or else very early in its life.
- Every time I detail the car, I'm surprised at how well it cleans up - it does not show its years!
- No expense spared on maintenance - everything has been done "on the button", when due, and to spec. I've had it on 5k service intervals because... it's a Porsche, why wouldn't you treat it well?
- Car is kept garaged and on a battery tender.
- Replaced both the front bumper lights (were showing signs of water ingress)
- Replaced the hood badge (the old one was starting to delaminate)
- Added weathertec floor liners (included in the sale)
- Replaced the Cardan shaft (apparently a common failure point)
- Replaced the alarm siren (ditto)
- Replaced the rear window regulator (it failed when a window froze shut)
- Fuel pump replaced
- Both remote fobs replaced
- TPM sensors (x4!) replaced
- Vacuum pump replaced
- Thermostat replaced
- Lower Control Arm hydraulic mounts replaced
- Battery replaced
- Headlight units replaced
- PCM software updated
Known Bad Points
These all fall into the "for awareness/full disclosure" category, none are issues daily:
- Slight oil weep from an unidentified location. Every service has reported it, and I've never noticed any drop in oil level on the dipstick, so it's not been a concern.
- One jacking point cover has been lost and the replacement is a slightly different shade of blue.
- One of the rear roller sun-blinds is starting to come away from the header rail (can probably be repaired)
- The trailing edge of one of the rear doors had been repainted before my ownership. You can see it if you know where to look, but it's not noticable normally.
Serious enquiries only please. No traders, no test-pilots - thank you. I'm happy to facilitate a pre-purchase inspection if required, either at my home location or at a local shop.
