Below is the product description by HHR:
"HHR is pleased to offer our newly-redesigned secondary cat bypass for the 957 (2007-2010) Cayenne. The stock Porsche Cayenne has 2 sets of (4 total) catalytic converters and this bypass removes the rear set of cats (you will still have one full set remaining on the car) to increase HP/TQ, sound levels by a marginal amount and provide incremental weight savings.
This new design provides much more clearance over the crossmember, and a more exact fit for the hangers.
We hand manufacture our own bypasses in Denver, Colorado. The tubing, flanges, and 4 adjustable hangers are made from 304 stainless steel with a matte brushed finish. We utilize a 2.5" or 3" tube which mates up to the factory down pipe, then to the factory 2.56" exhaust. Our flanges are 0.25 inch 304 stainless steel and were CAD designed to match factory specs and are precision water jet cut. Our bypass also incorporates 4 independently-adjustable stainless hangers, allowing adjustment as the exhaust moves over time. In addition, while the bypasses are considerably lighter than the factory cats, hangers are mandatory because the factory downpipes are flexible braided stainless steel and are not designed to be weight bearing. Adding bypasses without hangers will eventually damage the factory downpipes.
These bypass pipes will provide a power increase in the low-end and mid-range power band on a CTT and most importantly allow the turbos to spool significantly quicker. This product will provide significant power peak gains after an ECU tune. It is a noticeable difference and you will feel the difference the first time you drive with them installed. On the Cayenne S, the bypass provides immediate add-on power gains throughout the power band with peak gains of 15hp to 17hp.
We believe this is a DIY project for anyone capable of operating a wrench. We provide detailed instructions, needed hardware and copper gaskets. This project is estimated at 90 to 120 minutes for the first-timers. It's a 60-minute project once you're comfortable with the process. Please note that these are only rough time estimates; access to the upper flange bolts is difficult, and any stuck or rusted bolts can add time to the installation process.
