I sold my 997.2 because we had a baby and needed a larger dadmobile for the moment. While I had my 997.2 I bought and installed this Fabspeed intake. While there is a thread on the 997 forum that shows that it makes additional power at speed, I mainly bought it for the sound as well as the appearance in the engine bay. I loved the intake and wouldn't have the car without it. The intake was on my car for approximately 5,000 miles before I pulled it off and sold the car. The pictures accurately reflect the condition of the intake. There are 3 small scuffs on the carbon fiber clear coat, 2 on the rear shield from the rubber gaskets on the filters sometimes rubbing against the shield and 1 scuff on the center intake tube from sometimes coming into contact with the cooling fan in the rear deck. Both of these issues are solved by realigning the installation of the intake but I did not catch it quick enough before the scuffs were made.
