I recently purchased a 2013 981S with 20,000 miles on it. It came with RSS Lower Control Arms . I decided to remove them since I'm not tracking the car or looking for any handling performance improvements. Does not include any shims.

Purchase Price New = $1200

NOTE:
To install the Lower Control Arm's it is highly recommended you purchase new Lower Control Arm Ball Rebuild Kit (Part #380) and Camber alignment shims.

while they were installed, did you notice additional noise from having the monoball joint?

I didn't. That being said, I took them off within the first week of owning the car. The LCA's lowered it a slight bit and I was having trouble getting it in my garage without scaping.

I would do $275 for the tie rods only.
