FS: Lightly Used Girodisc hats and rotors (991.1 or 991.2 c2s/c4s/targaS/targa4s/GTS)
For SaleBrakes
Description:
Replaced my 991.1 with a GT3, so selling off some parts. Girodisc hats and rotors for 991.1 or 991.2 c2s/c4s/targaS/targaS/4sgts (fits all of these models). Used for 5-6 days at the track (used about 50% of a set of Ferodo DS1.11 (front) and Pagid RSL29 (rear) pads). Fronts show normal heat cracks but have plenty of life left in them (see Girodisc wear thread below ). Rears show barely any sign of use (naturally, because the rears get so much less action). I will also throw in the stud bolts and rear aluminum spacers from Tarrett. Note, 4 of the lugbolts are missing but you can get them fairly cheaply from Tarrett.
These and sticky tires are hands down the best performance for money spent I have ever experienced. I am fitting the same setup (just different sizes) to my GT3. They are a fantastic street/track upgrade!
Girodisc part numbers:
A2-032 (rears 350mm)
A1-032 (fronts 350mm)
Note, with these front rotors you can run stock size 991 pads OR 991 GT3 size pads. I ran the GT3 size pads (they give you just a smidge larger swept surface for more braking power). Rears can only use stock size 991 pads.
Here is the exact setup I did on my 991.1 c2s with these:

Here is the Girodisc wear/life thread that supports that the front and rear rotors I'm selling here have plenty of life left (I did 5-6 track days, many guys report 20-30 track days on these before they're shot):

Here's a thread on these rotors and discussion about using GT3 size pads in the front versus stock 991 size pads:

These hats and rotors cost $1,200 for a set of fronts and $1,200 for a set of rears. The Tarrett studs and spacers are another $150. So, new, this setup (w/out pads) runs $2,550 plus tax and shipping.
Happy to part with these for $1,200 + shipping.
