Modifications:
- Sport Steering Wheel retrofit (includes required stalk cluster)
- Wheel swap (it came with different wheels). The current wheels are OEM and have about 6000 miles on them.
- Clear bra and ceramic coating installed 6 months ago. It had a clear bra on when I bought the car, but the edges were peeling.
Maintenance;
- Oil change at 30k
- Have air filters and spark plugs. Willing to install before sale.
- Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S wheels. All have about 5000 miles on them, except the rear left, which has 1000 miles on it. I replaced it after a nail in the side wall.
History:
- Two owners. I bought this about 8 months ago at 25k miles.
- No accidents. Clean Carfax.
- I purchased it here: http://www.exoticcarsofhouston.com/D...rera-s-991-pdk
- No front bumper license plate holes
The bad:
- I bought the car remotely, unseen, with a PPI. The dealer pictures show the 'P O R S C H E' emblem on the rear bumper. It wasn't until last month that I realized the spacing was incorrect on the car. It now reads: 'PORSCHE'. This indicates that the emblems were removed and replaced. I asked the dealer about this and they told me:
"I went back to look at our records and the rear bumper was refinished by our in house body shop. There was a ding in the bumper, it was not due to an accident. It look like something had rolled into it so we had it repaired. It was an internal job so there is not a repair order for it."
I'm inclined to believe them, as I do not see any noticeable damage to the rear bumper.
- Some of the paint at the top edge of the hood (on the side, not noticeable when looking on the hood) peeled off when removing the original clear bra. This would be a great candidate for touch-up paint, except that it's now covered by the clear bra. In other words: you'd need to remove the clear bra to use the touch-up paint.
Meanwhile, I'll attach some pictures of the car as it is today and some pictures of the maintenance I did last weekend. Also note that it now has 33.4k miles and I'll drop the price to $62k to reflect that.
